Business continuity security is also the subject of the recommendation applicable to the banking sector in the European Union and worldwide. In Poland, business continuity issues in the banking sector are regulated by the Recommendation D and the Recommendation M. A complement to the norms and standards is the Good Practice Book on Business Continuity Management.  Polish law imposes an obligation on banks to manage the BCM area effectively.
