Interbank settlements

The proELIX settlement platform is a dedicated, flexible system for data exchange between systems operated within the bank and external settlement systems. The system ensures the handling of domestic PLN-denominated messages within the ELIXIR, SORBNET3, and Express ELIXIR systems. The proELIX system has a modular structure.

Each module can function as an independent banking application or cooperate with other proELIX components within a unified settlement platform.

Functionalities of individual modules

  • ediELIX – handling of orders within the ELIXIR channel at KIR.
  • sorbELIX – handling of orders within the SORBNET3 channel at NBP.
  • fastELIX – module responsible for handling and exchanging data with the Express ELIXIR System at KIR.
  • Auxiliary ledger – module responsible for performing financial and accounting operations
